I was interviewed by a manager and 3 of the engineers on his team. They generally covered each of their respective areas of expertise. One of the engineers asked fairly difficult technical questions and gave hypothetical scenarios.

Question 1
Manager: Tell me about a time you disagreed with a former manager, and how you handled it.
Engineer 3: Assume you have done a fresh installation of windows 2016. You can correctly configured the inteface, and from the host, can ping out to the network. However, when you return to your desk and attempt to ping the host, the ping request times out. Describe your troubleshooting process.
