I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Continental
Interview
The interview had 5 stages:
- CV trial (your CV gets vetted and if you pass you'll get contacted within two weeks)
- paper test (some logical questions, some bit-wise operations, correct the given code, optimize code, etc.)
- Committee test (you're in a room with 5 people and you have a blackboard, an electronic device, and a marker; they each have a copy of your CV and they can ask any kind of question/ give problems, based on your CV/ whatever they feel like)
- HR interview (to see if you're a good fit for the company; generally any normal outgoing person should pass it)
- team leader interview (you are presented with various departments and you get to meet the team leaders of the departments you choose; then you have a short 30-40 min interview with each of the team leads that you chose in which they generally ask intelligent questions -design on paper a system that does something- and some tricky programming questions
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A logic question: in a room there are 3 lightbulbs; you are outside of the room and can't see inside; in front of you are 3 switches connected to the lightbulbs. What do you do to know which switch activates which lightbulb if you're only allowed in the room once?
A technical question: you have 5 minutes to describe to me how to make a fuel level detection system for a tank. Here's a pen and some paper; describe it to me in any way you want using any terms you want.
(he was looking to see if you're smart enough and think logically enough to design such a thing even if you don't really know anything about it beforehand)
It was an easy to medium interview process.
As entry level it was quite smooth, mostly basic python questions and clarity in algorithm and approach to a problem was interviewed.
One Technical round followed by managerial round and finally hr round happened.
