I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Clicklease (Alajuela) in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview process was unfortunately disappointing. While I understood that I was overqualified for the position, I was genuinely interested in the opportunity to grow with the company.
However, the experience itself lacked professionalism. The interviewer appeared unprepared, was poorly presented, and had their camera positioned at an awkward angle. There was little genuine interest or energy shown during the conversation, which made the process feel rushed and disengaging. Additionally, the questions asked did not align closely with the responsibilities outlined in the job description, making it difficult to see how the role would truly operate. I also noticed the “Click here to write an anonymous review” link redirected me to ChatGPT, which raises concerns about attention to detail in the candidate experience.
If this is a reflection of their interview process, I can’t imagine what the company culture or management might be like it raises several red flags. If you’re considering this company in Costa Rica, I would recommend keeping it as a last resort unless significant improvements are made to their recruitment and overall professionalism.
Despite these concerns, I appreciate the opportunity to have interviewed.
Salary is supposedly: 900 - 1000
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to introduce myself, share what my hobbies were, and where I was from, and to share a bit about my professional background.
They also asked a situational question: "A new discovery was made that is not very believable. What steps would you take to ensure it is believable?"
