I did this mock interview to get an idea of what IB interviews are like. It was more difficult than I expected. First personal questions then more specific competency questions.

Effects of the Basel III regulation on the real economy.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (San Antonio, TX) in Sept 2023
Interview
The call back took longer than 3 weeks. The interview was pretty simple weaknesses and strengths, very relaxed. It was not very intimidating but seemed a bit rushed. The benefits seemed okay, and the pay offered was on the average side.

Overall the experience was not as difficult as I initially thought it was going to be. It’s your standard big bank interview process compromised of multiple rounds of interviews and assessments
