3 month process (start of Jan to end of March), but the company made us aware of each stage in advance.
Stage 1: application and cover letter
Stage 2: numerical and checking test
Stage 3: video interview
Stage 4: interview with member of HR (40 min)
Stage 5: in person assessment centre
Video interview was based on why capital group, tell me about yourself type questions. Interview with member of HR was based on what you knew about the company and questions you had for the recruiters, it was a nice and simple interview.
Then around 1 week after the interview I was invited to the assessment centre which took place in their Victoria office. It was a long day, from 8-5:30 but was very engaging. We met with members of both teams we were interviewing for, managers and graduates.
Within the assessment centre, we had an ice breaker, q&a with the graduates and managers, 2 30 min panel interviews, an individual presentation and a group exercise.
Overall the process was very engaging, and was the best application process I had out of the 50+ companies I applied for. Unfortunately they were only hiring for 2 graduates, and with 9 candidates the chances were quite slim. The previous year (2022) they hired 5 grads but considering the markets headcount has decreased in most companies. They also set up a call to give feedback around a week after the AC, I haven’t received my feedback just yet.
I’d definitely recommend applying for this company and role.
