We are very disappointed to read your comments. Mistakes like this are thankfully extremely rare at Capco and we have conducted a thorough internal investigation to understand what may have happened and to ensure it is not repeated.
As a successful firm that is growing quickly, creating a positive candidate experience for talented job seekers is of paramount importance to us. We set the bar very high both for our recruiters, and those involved in recruitment from the business. We aim to see every candidate has a great experience of Capco and takes away a positive impression of the firm, whether or not they join us on this occasion. In this case the recruiter was forced to communicate quickly and via text (rather than email) as the firm was undergoing a one-off email migration and she had no email access for a limited period. The recruitment evening was scheduled at short notice and we appreciate that candidates may prefer a longer lead time.
Rest assured that we will take this feedback on-board for future events. In spite of the late scheduling, the event was run like any other event where candidates were prepped in advance, greeted on the night, and met with a number of interviewers. These trained interviewers then decided, as a team, which candidates moved forward to the next stage.
We regularly seek feedback from candidates on our recruitment process, including via this forum, in order to make enhancements and continually improve the candidate experience at Capco so we attract the best in the market - we will continue to do so.
