I have been working at Capco full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Colleagues here don't feel like colleagues, they are truly friends and mentors. It doesn't matter what your title, is there is something to learn from and with everyone who works here. I thoroughly enjoy my interactions with the Corporate Services, Finance and other groups who support our business on a daily basis. The best part about coming to work each day, is knowing that everyone has the same level of enthusiasm...

    Cons

I wish we had more space and sometimes I wish I had a dedicated spot where I can sit while I am in the office.

I have been working at Capco full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Capco is a great place to learn all aspects of the area I want to focus on. The leaders and senior management are open to conversation which we can freely express our opinions. There are lots of young and energetic people in the company who are willing to work hard and contribute new ideas to improve the working environment. The company has organised many leisure events (e.g. cooking class, spinning class, dancing...

    Cons

It will be better if the company can focus more on improving the operation systems and procedures which both senior management and supporting teams can get the data easily and precisely.

    Advice to Management

To improve the operation system which provide more efficient and user-friendly tools.

I have been working at Capco full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

A lot of talented people who are ambitious/ eager to learn. Great exposure to senior management. Relocation to different Capco offices is encouraged for high performers. Having seen both the perspective of the London office and Hong Kong, I can say that Capco truly does have a globally consistent feel. The Hong Kong office has a very nice family atmosphere just like London. Everyone is extremely friendly and makes an...

    Cons

Although there is a big push for change, there is still work to be done on increasing the Capco brand amongst clients and getting exposure to large and interesting projects.

    Advice to Management

Continue building the Capco brand amongst clients and getting large teams on the ground to execute end-to-end change. Celebrate successes and continue to invest in your people’s career development.

I have been working at Capco full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The environment is changing, it is getting less political and more focused on building capabilities, the business, and strengthening the Capco brand. There are lots of talented and cool people who are willing to work hard. Because of the flat structure, it is a lot easier to gain access to senior management and clients. I came from a bigger consultancy and I find it very refreshing to be able to make an impact rapidly...

    Cons

There is still opportunity to build a stronger culture; transparency can also still be improved so people feel that they have "skin in the game". There can also be more effort to gel the team even more and dismantle the cliques.

    Advice to Management

Keep communication lines open, celebrate team successes, continue to invest in building the brand. This will keep the people engaged and will also allow Capco HK to win more interesting work at different clients. Support topic experts and specialists by allowing them to shine and get market exposure, as this will ultimately benefit the firm and strengthen Capco's reputation in the market. Look into efforts make teams...

    I worked at Capco full-time

    Pros

Good project opportunities in one of HK's biggest banks.

    Cons

Capco hasn't had any real leadership recently. Previous management lacked business integrity and only focused on themselves (would throw people under the bus). Turnover has been very high with many good consultants leaving. Morale at the company is low and will take time to improve. Capco's presence in HK is only really limited to one client.

I worked at Capco full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-20 days leave -not much really

    Cons

-Exposure limited to one client- -Management/resourcing/HR tend to mislead by omission, you will be taken advantage of if you seem like an easy target. Incompetent ops staff. Don’t get me started on the Indian team -very hierarchical, you’re only treated as a person if you’re an expat, principal consultant and above -caliber of consultants not on par with their titles. - very political, people will throw you under...

    Advice to Management

-Reassess principal consultants and managing principals and whether they are worthy of the title. Otherwise there is no credibility for those who are really good -Treat everyone as a person with respect. Don’t be spiteful and try to ruin the person’s next gig just because someone has resigned.
