I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at CERN
Interview
The overall process of the interview could have been fine, but there were some details that made the experience less than ideal for me.
Firstly, it took over 2 months from sending in my application, to hearing anything back. This would be fine, were it not for the short deadlines on completing the next round.
The next round consisted of an "asynchronous video interview" and a technical test. The video interview is essentially some questions which you then answer by recording a video of yourself using some software. Unfortunately, the software requires the flash plugin, which is full of security holes and I won't have it on my computer. I therefore had to use the mobile app, which was less than ideal.
The technical test was to be performed on the site, "interviewzen". I like the idea of this site and the questions that had been set were interesting, but the site specifically tells you not to copy/paste from your editor. I followed these instructions, but what it doesn't tell you is that it will time and and lose all your work.
I think that CERN really need to address the software they use to conduct this round of interviews.

Question 1
What are some of the features released in python 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7
It was the smart recruiter interviews where I had to record my answer in 2 minutes and preparation time was 1 min. After applying within 2 days I got email for online interview.
