This was for a contractor role. 1 stage interview and was pretty straight forward. I applied for a manager position which is didn’t get however BlackRock contacted me around a month after saying I got a job in the same team but as an associate.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at BlackRock (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Feb 2014
Interview
Interview process was quite lenghty. It took almost 6 months from the initial HR interview till final offer letter roll out. There were almost 12-13 rounds of interviews and its feedback took a lot of time. Interview questions were based on my resume and the profile I was interviewed for. Nothing surprising about the whole interview process. Technical diffculty was average.
India team culture is like any other BPO in NCR region. Infrastructure and facilities are good but overall management style is typical BPO like especially in Finance.
