I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bending Spoons in Jan 2021
Interview
The interview process is carefully designed to profoundly assess the candidate.
Rather than being focused on one specific job-related skill, it covers a wide set of abilities, making sure that candidates can succeed at different types of tasks. This is the main difference with respect to interviews at well-known tech companies, where the process focuses mostly on pure coding interviews.
Tests (both written and with in-person interviewers) are challenging but not extremely hard.
Overall it's a great interview process, demonstrating the company's interest to hire only meticulously hand picked individuals.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Problems include logical tests, coding challenges, system-design discussions, analytical tasks and behavioural questions.
Online screening in a zoom call with a recruiter. With some questions asked about the job, some about strengths and previous experiences as well as a few questions about the company
There was a task round and then some interviews. The process tests a lot of logical reasoning and quick thinking. The interviews were mostly focused around soft skills and problem solving. If you like logic puzzles this process is pretty interesting.
Two rounds of several tasks, most of which were logic problems, some were programing. After I did two interviews, a both were half behavioral, the second half was logic based on the first one and system design on the second one.
