Interview
First round: First we talked about personal characteristics (why Bain? why me? why consultancy?...) and then we proceeded to a case question. This was repeated twice with different consultants at Bain. Both were very friendly and helpful, cases were difficult but not impossible in my opinion. Generally a very nice and helpful learning experience for the future. (General note for reading this text: I did not pass the first round.)
i had an interview with Bain after completing my online assessment. They gave me 4 days to prepare for the two case and 1 behavioral interviews in the first round. Is this normal?
Typical consulting cases with 5 minutes of behavioral in the beginning. Two separate interviewers for the first round; math questions were not hard and mostly focused on market sizing. Good luck!
case studies and guesstimates followed up by resume questions. first it started with an aptitude test which was hard and then the short listing for interviews. we had 2 interviews per person
