Chemistry tool completion followed by online telephone interview. The first telephone interview was set up and I had not received the invitation and confirmed acceptance so my husband answered the call on the home phone and had to advise I that I wasn't there as had no idea the interview was scheduled. I had only just received the online Chemistry tool to complete 1 minute before the first interview. I finally spoke to someone in the recruitment team and the telephone interview was rescheduled. The interview was short and it was difficult to get engaged which Hiring Manager, she had not reviewed my chemistry tool either (personality test) I was rejected at this stage and received an e-mail advising me of this, I asked for more comprehensive feedback and having spoken to the recruitment contact still felt confused as to why I had been rejected so could not take away any lessons to improve for the future. I am very disappointed as ARM is a company I would love to work for, and the feedback boiled down to, they thought my style was not quite right and it would take too much work to get me operating the "ARM way" but no detail as to what my communication issues were. Very disappointed and feel that telephone interviews are not an ideal way to screen people.
