Getting to know the candidate and making sure their values align with Applied Medical. The focus was on checking your actions and reactions based on random questions asked such as "Tell us about yourself" and "how would you behave/react in situation X?"

"How would you deal with someone on your team not doing their job?"
It began with me submitting my résumé and cover letter, after which I was contacted for an initial phone screening. During this call, the recruiter asked about my background, availability, and general interest in the role. I was then invited to a virtual interview where I spoke with a hiring manager who asked technical and behavioral questions to assess my skills and problem-solving abilities. In a subsequent round, I participated in a panel interview with senior team members, where I was asked more in-depth questions about my past experiences and how I would handle specific workplace scenarios. After the interviews, the company conducted reference checks. Overall, the process was professional and gave me a clear understanding of the role and the organization.
