During my recent interview for the Product Solutions role, I was disappointed by the unprofessional experience. Despite my extensive industry background, the interviewer opened the conversation with a lecture on how Apple leaders behave and then abruptly asked me to introduce myself, setting a dismissive tone. She incorrectly assumed I had the whole Apple tooling experience (which I never claimed to the recruiter who reached just 2 days back), and once I clarified on my transferable skills, the remainder of the interview shifted negatively. When I asked my prepared questions, she repeatedly responded with, “That is not our job” or “I cannot answer, that is confidential,” without providing meaningful engagement, and often delivered these answers in a harsh and dismissive way. Her arrogance, lack of courtesy, and unwillingness to engage left the impression of bias and poor preparation. I strongly recommend Apple invest in better interviewer training to ensure fairness, professionalism, and respect toward candidates, as this experience did not reflect the excellence and culture Apple is known for. We deserved more respect for candidates as we are not begging anything to anybody.
