I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Apple
Interview
Two phone screens and one on-site/full-panel (virtual due to Covid-19). Phone screens were behavioral and looked for fit based off of resume. Had to describe a bit about what I worked on in grad-school. Full-panel had 9 people. Depending on the interviewer, questions were behavioral, and mostly about experience on resume (PhD). A few circuit questions and some architecture/sensing IC type questions.

Question 1
Architecture considerations for a capacitive sensor (like in a touch controller). What type of amplifier, modulation scheme, etc.
It was my 1st interview with the hiring manager, I didn't think he was going to dive deep into the technical and just ask me about my background in the first interview, but he had a slide deck of OPAMPs problems I have never seen before. make sure you have enough time to study and solve as much problems as possible before interviewing.
