      Senior Simulation Engineer Interview

      24 Apr 2023
      Anonymous employee
      Irvine, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Anduril (Irvine, CA) in Apr 2021

      Interview

First I had a screening interview with a recruiter, followed a few days later by a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that I was invited to an onsite interview with a director and a 3-part technical panel. Everything but the interview with the recruiter had technical and nontechnical components. Interviewers knew their business, but felt approachable and fostered two-way discussion. The recruiter was responsive and well informed. Overall I got a good impression of the company culture.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Asked about how to write, use, and improve simulations under different scenarios. There were three coding questions focused on processing data into a solution and emulating simple physics. Also asked questions regarding work history.
