      Sr. Manager Interview

      18 Nov 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Amgen

      Interview

Initially applied in June 2024. From the initial application to the point when I declined speaking to them further, I had spoken to no fewer than 8 different people. The final straw was after speaking to an executive director, I was asked to speak to "someone on the team". This is when I told them I was not interested in exploring the opportunity further. After speaking to 8 people between a combination of phone screens, and "in-person" WebEx, the team clearly had enough data points to make a decision. Additionally, my "in-person" was split into 2 different days - a Thursday and a Friday. For the Friday, I got on WebEx early and nobody showed up. The recruiter forgot to make it known to me that the interviewers asked to reschedule so I waited for about 20 minutes before I contacted someone. Overall, it was a very sloppy experience.
