A recruiter contacted through Linkedin. A preliminary interview was conducted by the hiring manager. It was behavioural. I was informed that I cleared and selected for the technical round. I was interviewed by a Operations Engineer. The interview went on for more than an hour. I answered every single question correctly. There was a coding problem which I was asked to complete and email back the code. After two days I received an email from the recruiter with the most unbelievable outcome.
The email said "The interviewer believes you would be a good fit for a different position possibly so I have sent your resume along to my colleagues that hire for that position. While Amazon does not provide feedback, we enjoyed learning more about you and hope that you had a positive experience."
