I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Jan 2025
Interview
Interviewer (not even on the team I was interviewing for and had no idea what the role was about) had fake attitude, asking obviously trick questions like "I guess 90% out of 100% is a good place to be at" referring to a major accomplishment I was telling about. Hinting at "Are you just going to be happy with 90%? Or do you want to do better" like this was obviously a set up conversation with the "dig deep" questions. This was one of many set ups he was testing me on throughout. Leadership principles are easy to BS if you study them, but it feels like walking on glass throughout this process. Abrupt hang ups too and bragging on himself at the end. Then says "Thanks for your time, bye" with no follow up or expectations. Very disrespectful. Worst waste of time and attitude.

Interview
Amazon dollows the STAR method. This stands for situation, task, action, and result. Remember follow up questions. While preparing partner with several mentors to keep you practicing. Always remember to thank the interviewer in a follow up email.
Was pretty straightforward. 90% were behavioural questions. 1 was into. Nothing difficult. Would advise practising office scenarios and team management as well as conflict resolution. Be confident, relaxed and clear
