I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2022
Interview
Brutal. Absolutely brutal. Long. 4 months after initial contact, finally made it to the final interview. Which is comprised of four rigorous hours with four different people in four different cities virtually using a STAR method so you have to have a compelling story for every answer and then be prepared to drill down with further detail on the how, why, impact, conclusion. You think you’ve nailed it only to receive an impersonal reject email three weeks later with zero feedback from some recruiter you’ve never dealt with throughout the four months. And this is just the interview!

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you had to pivot last minute.
Great management, it was a walk in drive and the HR team was able to manage everything well. Enjoyed the process.
All the best to everyone going for the interview.

1 Phone screen, 4 loops of behavioral interviews. A bar raiser is involved in one of the 4 loops. They respond back in the same week regarding the next steps / feedback
