Interview process was intensive. I applied towards the end of August 2023 (the assessment was hard and had me questioning everything) heard back from Amazon a few weeks later about scheduling a technical interview in early October. The interview was hard, definitely study you can find resources on if you search for them. I heard back the same day, and was invited for the loop interview scheduled for two weeks later. The loop interview was exhausting, all the questions they ask you rely on your past experience. Loop interview was four interviews, three were mainly behavioral and there was a technical interview. I was presented with an offer letter a week later. Keep in mind Amazon does base your compensation on your loop interview performance. While I was thrilled to make it through the Amazon gauntlet, I did accept another offer with a different organization due to the lack of pto, and support engineers are paid hourly (not salary) which would be a significant setback for my work/family life balance.
