Leadership Development Snr Program Manager Interview

      16 Jun 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      South Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (South Seattle, WA)

      Interview

7 interviews total. 2 Screening. 1 with HR and then with colleague. Then the famous "loop" of 5. It was rigorous and I didn't prep enough and/or super well. Was my first STAR-based interview process, which for my personality type is tricky. I don't remember most of the great stuff I've done - I just get it done, in an outstanding manner. But you def gotta be so ready to spell out compelling concise stories using the STAR method, and nail it! The assessment and simulation were easy, super smart and fun. But I think they were in Beta as none of the folks I know at Amazon had ever seen such a thing!

      Question 1

Tell me about a time when... (this is the beginning of most questions). There are great articles online you can pull up that have the exact questions they pull from.
