I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon (London, England) in Oct 2020
Interview
1) Recruiter interview
2)Online Mathematics test
3) Interview with Operations Manager
4) Final stage was a 4 hour interview with interviewees from different parts of the company
5) Was unsuccessful- It took a great deal of preparation and the feedback was that I needed to 'Deep Dive' more into my situations. Couldn't have said any more to be honest. The said that Amazon is biggest on the DEEP DIVE competency and revealed that this is what the look for in the interview for the Area Manager role.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time when you created your own metric, and how did that metric impact the situation.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
