I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Houston, TX) in Oct 2020
Interview
Rigorous, thorough, redundant. It was typical to most behavioral interviews. I did not have any surprises in this interview and was comfortable the entire time. I think that most would do well in this interview by preparing as they would for any other.
Star Method and Leadership Principles. Just study these from the materials they give you, and form a story for each principle, and when they ask questions, you can see which principle they are asking about.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you faced a conflict or disagreement at work and how did you handle it?"
Multiple online tests after application, followed by a virtual interview with various staff. Staff did not want to be on camera and did not have many good things to say about working there.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
