It was very professional. It was a neat process no panicking and staffs were really polite. Questions were not much difficult, they majorly look for good communication and adaptability. Totally we had three rounds and the interview took place for a week.
I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon (Cochin) in May 2017
Interview
1. Group Discussion: The candidates were divided into multiple groups and conducted this round. It wasn't a formal GD, but they gave us liberty to speak about any topic that we like and gave everyone opportunity to speak for about 2-4 minutes.
2. Listening/Typing test: A listening/typing test were also conducted . In this round our typing speed and listening skill were tested. The task was basically transcribing (typing) the things that we hear while we were provided with multiple audio files of few seconds. The round took half an hour for completion.
3. HR Interview: Final round was HR interview. The round was purely for evaluating our communication skill, since the job requires very good communication skill in English language. This round was more like a chit-chat with the HR, than a formal interview.
The selection process includes two assessments. The first is divided into two parts: a logical reasoning test based on real work-related situations, and an evaluation of personal and professional attitudes. The second assessment is a written language test, tailored to the language required for the specific job position.
