I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amazon (Robbinsville, NJ) in Apr 2017
Interview
Online assessment and then had a tour of facility with 3 interviews with HR, Ops and General Manager separately the following week.
Tour was very impressive and was prior to interview. I asked questions about what I saw and also took notes that would pertain to the current role I was applying for.
Interview was intense and can be intimidating but if you stay calm and speak to your experiences you will be fine. I strongly recommend practicing as soon as you are invited to the interview process it will help tremendously and will eliminate surprises. Amazon pretty much tells you what they are going to ask so you just need to focus.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
All behavioral questions. Star format. Basically you need to utilize your past experiences and answer the questions honestly.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
