Employer scheduled me a phone call with me to ask about my general knowledge with cognitive science and my experience in design. and then didn’t invite me for the interview process or give me any follow up information
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is your understanding of how cognitive knowledge works in collaboration with experience design?
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Sept 2015
Interview
Found through campus recruiting as well as online application. Took about a week to have any recruiter contact me, and we set up interviews for the following week. I made it through two rounds of phone interviews. First was behavioral questions about teamwork and corporate culture etc, and second was more specifically about portfolio review, and solving design problems. Didn't hear back.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon in Jun 2024
Interview
First there was an online workstyle assessment.
Once you pass that, you'll have a 1 on 1 Interview going over your portfolio and behavioral questions.
Finally it's time for the loop. For me this consisted of a case study presentation, whiteboarding exercise, and 5 interviews focused on behavioral questions.
