I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Apr 2024
Interview
It was a disappointing experience. The process heavily relied on the STAR method, but it felt forced and artificial. The interviewers follow scripts rather than engage in a real conversation—like speaking to chatbots. There was little room for meaningful discussion about the role, my experience, or how I could contribute.

Question 1
They asked about data quite frequently which is rare to track if you're an EA.
Screening call, five ‘loop’ interviews & HM chat. Loop based on Amazon leadership principles & STAR interview format. You receive plenty of information on how to prepare for the interviews which are back to back and 1 hour each

Question 1
Tell me about a time something went wrong, what were you doing, how did you deal with it…
Very intense. 2 phone screens and 4 45 minute interviews, known as the loop. The recruiter prepared me with much detail about what to expect. If you prepare, you’ll be fine.

Interview
Went through phone screening and never heard back even after reaching out to recruiter. It was unusual since they are usually quick on notifying you. I've went through a few interviews with them in the past.
