I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aflac (Boston, MA) in Jan 2014
Interview
If you want the job, you can have it. I was invited to a group interview by email, after I had posted my resume to monster.com. There were about 20 other candidates in the room. The recruiter likely sizes everyone up. If you want to meet further one -to one, you contact the recruiter You do have to get your insurance license before you start. The only pay is commission and there are no benefits.
Zoom meeting with regional manager. Was very thorough and informative. Good conversations and questions. I felt very comfortable and the manager was very easy to talk to. Was very satisfied with the whole process and excited to work with them.
They had one group meeting to discuss the job and then 6+ months before interviews. Takes a very long time to follow up but stay vigilant if you want to work for this company.
Started off as a group interview. This was not disclosed prior to the interview. It felt humiliating and degrading. No one said anything that felt genuine or welcoming. I left halfway through because it was so nauseating
