my interview was many years ago. i spent the last 20 years with the company in the data networking sales field. following the interview, there was a 2 hour sales assessment that had nothing to do with the actual day to day job; it was very poor as it did not relate to the actual position .

No direct hiring all through contractors who you work directly for thats how your paid and receive benefits if you choose. You will however have a direct AT&T supervisor once hired.

Interview
Online application followed by an assessment day which included group activities and an interview with the sales director. There was also a "personality test" which is designed to assess how you would wok within the organisation- similar to the myers briggs tests. This was followed by a later presentation day where I had to do a pitch about the company and its offerings to 4/5 senior managers in the area.
