I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Bend, OR) in Jan 2010
Interview
Had a few interviews with the then store manager, and one with the district leader, and area manager. Took an online personality test. Had four weeks of training, and then started my job. For the most part you didnt learn your job until you were in the mix. I think the training program could be better.

Question 1
My only wish is that we would have been given more "drive time" on the system. we took a bunch of simulations in training and they're worthless. As for as interview, if you've worked retail you know the job, and what it takes.
AT&T almost always begins with an online application followed by an aptitude or skills assessment. Many candidates receive an interview invitation immediately after passing the assessment. After the assessment, a recruiter typically calls to verify your background, availability, and interest in the role. This step often happens within a few days.

Interview
Very detailed interview process, the manager Robin was tough. Throughout the process she gave me the toughest questions. I was called into the location to meet with her in person. We sat in her office and she was taking notes on what I was saying.
