      Search Engine Marketing Interview

      18 Mar 2009
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Atlanta, GA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AT&T (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2008

      Interview

Initial communication with the company was positive and brisk. I moved quickly from a phone interview to submitting previous work to being interviewed at the Midtown office. I felt the panel interview went well, but that's when things became difficult. I was initially told all available positions had been filled, but was then contacted several months later with an offer for one of the positions. All my interactions with the personnel were friendly and professional, but the massive hiring glut at the time created more than a little confusion.

      Question 1

No unusual or difficult questions were asked. I was only asked to demonstrate basic competence at the position's daily tasks.
