1. Tell me about yourself. 2. Why did you leave your last position, or why are you leaving your current position? 3. What do you know about this company? 4. What are your goals? (long-term goals are great, but keep in mind the manager is looking for people who plan on staying in the department for at least 1-2 years so they can use the training they are given) 5. What are your strengths and weaknesses? 6. Why do you want to work here? (“to get my foot in the door” is not a good answer) 7. What has been your most significant achievement? (if possible, use a work-related accomplishment) 8. How would your last boss and colleagues describe you? 9. How have you handled a difficult customer situation?
