I was first contacted about the Payroll III Specialists position and was scheduled for a phone interview with an ADP recruiter. The questions on the first interview were fairly basic and were mostly just ask more detail about my background, experience, and previous responsibilities. This interview lasted about 20-30 minutes.
A week later the recruiter contacted me to schedule an in-person interview. The interviewer was very friendly and tone of the interview was laid back and casual. Most of the questions followed the same basic format: Tell about a time when something specific happened to you, how did you respond, what were the results. This interview lasted about an hour.
A few days later the recruiter called me again to schedule a third interview with the "hiring manager." The questions, for the most part, followed the same format as before. There were a few questions related to how well you work with others. This interview lasted about 45 minutes and I was told I would hear of a decision within a week or two.
Four weeks later I had not heard anything so I called and was informed that they had filled the position. About 30 minutes after that I got an email telling me the same thing.
