Does PepsiCo offer dental insurance?

Pros

The perks are good, The health, dental and vision insurance are good. Especially the dental they use metlife. The 401k is good through fidelity. they have a compressed work schedule 2 on 2 off 3 on then 2 off 2 on and 3 off in 12 hr shifts. That makes great work-life balance. Gives employees a life outside of work. Some of the supervisors and management come out to help.

Cons

The pay isn't that great. Other companies that do production in the area pay more than they do. There is a lot of turnaround. The company seems to think anyone can just come in and learn to run the machines. No this is NOT true.

Advice to Management

Stop hiring people with no experience and make sure their background check and drug test come back good before having them start because employees don't like training someone then after a few days they get terminated because their UA or BKGRND check wasn't in yet. That is a waste of time. Give employees adequate tools to do their jobs and dont take things off their lines because someone from corporate walked by and didn't like it the way it looked. It's a production environment NOT an office. Unless they have specifically worked on that individual line for an extended period of time, they should have no say so what stays and what goes. That just hinders the operators from doing their job.

The perks are good, The health, dental and vision insurance are good.

Does PepsiCo offer a wellness program?

Pros

Great work/life balance depending on the team. Do your research. Ask around. Okay pay, but promotions can take 2+ yrs for many. Once they lock you in, they can only give you set percentage increases so negotiate well at the start. Good vacation overall Good benefits but room for improvement Great brand experience opps and portfolio building Small in-house teams, but good people for the most part. Again, can be really hit or miss depending on what brand you end up on and who your manager is

Cons

Little to no room for raise or promo negotiation once you’re on. Have seen lots of great people leave for this reason. Wide range of salaries within each level, which is really dirty but hey it’s corporate America. HR is not on your side. No clear path to promotion for design and the DC has been around for about 10 years now. Figure it out. You’re on your own. Your future is in the hands of your manager and your marketing team so they better believe in you or you’re kind of screwed Lots of politics. Know who matters to work work your way up There’s a standard amount of vacation, but the policy is outdated. Make it unlimited like everyone else and give us a health and wellness stipend instead of reward points with limited options on how to redeem Low female leadership and lack of diversity, but willingness to change

Advice to Management

Learn how to retain good talent and pay people fairly. Speed up the promotion process and make it less confusing.
