What is the hiring process like at Old Navy?

Pressure for Credit Cards & Loyalty: This is the most frequently complaint you'll encounter making interacting with customers superficial at times. Cashiers and floor staff are under significant pressure to meet quotas for signing customers up for the Old Navy credit card and loyalty program ("Navyist Rewards"). Failure to meet these goals can sometimes lead to reduced hours or coaching from management Inconsistent Hours: "Payroll cuts" are common. If the store is not meeting sales targets, part-time shifts are often the first to be cut. You might be scheduled for 15 hours one week and 4 hours the next

Decent employee discount and easy cashier position. Customers where nicer than at other retail stores I've worked at.

Everybody is overworked. If someone from your team leaves, they won't hire a replacement. Instead, they will make you work harder to fill the open position, and you won't get a raise for it, just extra work.

At my Old Navy, everyone is nice including the managers and they are there to help you when needed.

The pay isn't really that great with starting at $12 per hour and after working there for a year, I make $12.61 per hour while others make a few cents less than I do. New hires have gotten paid more than I have.
