What is the salary like at MyEyeDr.?

It pays the bills consistently. I'm not homeless.

Company is run by money greedy owners. They will train you in every single role (but the doctor) so that you can be "useful", meanwhile you will get reprimanded for not being to your position while you are busy stepping in for a position you were never hired to fill. It is constantly low staffed, and we are all burnt out. customers notice. If you are paid by commission, it's even more painful to not be in your position, since they talk you into the lowest possible pay rate with big dreams of making much more. So far that has not worked out this way for many in the office...so if they promise commission pay just know they will work you to death on a job that you didn't know you would have to learn.. and those "bonuses" will never see you, unless getting a 46cent annual raise is sufficient enough for you. SMH. enjoy the chaos!

I like my co-workers and my supervisor but we call seem overworked.

The pay isn't great in comparison to the work load.

We have great doctors and staff. The pay is competitive, we actually get most holidays off, and we are closed on Sunday.

We don't have any big company functions to get everyone in the district together.

Pretty competitive pay with a good 401k plan.

Terrible management low level and upper management. Discrimination to women doctors. Discrimination to senior doctors. Incompetent store managers given to much power over optometrist. Scheduling for children minimal allowance. HR a waste of time and do not respond to complaints. Unappreciative of doctor's time and/or concerns. Staff poorly trained. Whistleblowers considered threatening and retaliation occurs Vindictive store managers Inability to work with doctors and staff issues on any level of management. Minimal raises even when goals achieved Optometrists disrespected by some staff without any recourse for doctor No way to solve issues Upper management incompetence and naivety No direction or support Unreasonable expectations Jealousy of staff members that would complain behind your back No ethics Avoid being influenced by the perks and salary. It was definitely not worth being so Unappreciated! Find optometry positions where you are treated with respect and kindness. Plenty of positions available my fellow optometrists that love this field like I do. Keep looking!
