Calvin (our Head of Security and New Products) recently enjoyed a day of golfing at the Royal Cinque Golf Club. The club was absolutely thrilled with the sleek new roller shutters we installed in their revamped pro shop and generously gave us a few tee times in return. We jumped at the chance to organise a mini-Secom Physical Golf Day and invited some of our regular clients to join in on the fun. The two teams of three played a lively Texas scramble format. In this game, everyone tees off, the best drive is picked, and everyone plays from that spot. This exclusive club, known for having hosted the Open, provided an incredible setting for the day. Despite some fierce winds, the lower-handicap players played spectacularly and clinched victory with an impressive score given the conditions. Everyone had a blast, and weโre already excited about the possibility of hosting this event again, maybe at a different course next time! Thanks Calvin and team!!
Our SECOM Scottish installation van has conquered the northernmost reaches of the UK! After a successful project in Lerwick, Shetland, it's now setting sail for Aberdeen on the overnight ferry. #SECOMSpotted

Any of our sales team who exceed over ยฃ100k worth of orders in a month, will join the ยฃ100k Club and receive a spirit of their choice from their manager. Terry, our General Manager for UK South Service, has recently celebrated 31 years working at SECOM! Alongside Terry, his son, Sean, celebrates his 9 year anniversary at SECOM. SECOM's Commercial Director, Alan Blake and Technical Director Dan Wilkinson attended Eagle Eye Networks & Brivo 2024 European Cloud Summit, during which both companies and guest speakers shared their innovative roadmap and insights. Alan commented โCloud in security will increasingly play a part in the electronic security space, to the point where On Premises hardware will largely become a thing of the past in the same way analogue systems were replaced with IP. In an age where cybersecurity, GDPR, NIS2 and environmental considerations are more and more important to end users, cloud will become the obvious solution. SECOMโs customers will soon be able to benefit from OpEx centric models, which will alleviate the need for capital budgets and lifecycle replacement, also benefiting from lifetime equipment warranties and reduced cost installations.
