We are fortunate to have a leader like Collin Reed at the helm of our Worker Onboarding team, which supports new consultants in their first months with Workrise. Whether tackling new challenges or fostering growth, he consistently raises the bar by equipping his team with the skills and resources to optimize worker impact. Collin reflects on what makes his role so fulfilling. “I love the dynamic nature of the role and its meaningful impact on the people we serve. Whether it’s addressing a new requirement or collaborating internally, I’m constantly faced with new but rewarding scenarios. Workrise has a collaborative environment that fosters creativity and allows my team to tackle challenges and reach its goals more effectively.” Collin’s dedication and creative thinking are genuinely inspiring. We can't wait to see what the future holds.
So much of what makes Workrise so strong is our people and the relationships they build with the talented men and women we serve in the field. Luisa Cobar is one of those people. As she puts it: “Being at Workrise for the past three years has taught me so much and given me access to an amazing work environment and culture. As a Latina woman working in tech and Oil & Gas, representation can be hard to come by. Here, I am able to be a part of ERGs that not only support me and my heritage but also allow me to teach and celebrate it with others!” Luisa’s journey has been shaped by a culture of inclusion and support, and this Hispanic Heritage Month, we are excited to share her story with our community. Thank you, Luisa. We are grateful for everything you bring to the team.
At Workrise, data-driven decision-making is at the core of our success. Our Analytics team, led by Rae McCarrick, has been instrumental in transforming how we understand and tackle business challenges. Rae shares her thoughts on the changes and how her team delivers. "My favorite part of my role as manager of the Analytics team at Workrise has been influencing the company culture around data. Over the last year, the team has targeted our solutions to support users in either taking action or making a decision. This focused approach has enabled us to better understand the business problems of our users, leveling up the impact we can have. Stakeholders are now coming to us to help construct their data stories, as opposed to simply providing them data." Thank you to Rae and the analytics team for everything you do.

The Vendor Management launch continues, with coverage from Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “The industry has an enormous opportunity to improve how it puts every dollar to work,” said Workrise Chief Revenue Officer Joshua Trott. “Energy companies in the US spend $1 trillion in capex annually, with $150 billion going to field spend alone. By optimizing every step in the source-to-pay life cycle, Workrise Vendor Management is poised to streamline field operations not just for operators, but for everyone involved in producing and delivering the energy the world so badly needs.” Read the full piece from SDCE via the link below.
After years of work and over a decade of living and breathing this problem space, Workrise is thrilled to formally announce the launch of Workrise Vendor Management — a new breed of source-to-pay solution, built from the ground up for Energy. Read the full announcement to learn about the unique combination of purpose-built software and expert teams that makes this not just another tool, but a game-changing solution:
In energy, the process from sourcing new vendors to verifying and paying for completed work is broken, and the price tag is massive. Over the past decade we've helped everyone from independents to supermajors navigate these challenges, and this past month, Workrise CRO Joshua Trott spent some time thinking about the lessons we picked up along the way. Here are his observations:
The relationship between energy companies and their suppliers is... complex. Each needs the other, and together they are responsible for delivering the projects that power our world. But the process by which they engage - the way they work together day-in, day-out - is broken, with plenty of headaches on both sides. For an industry that plans to spend $1T in 2024 in the US alone, working even a handful of percentage points better together has the potential to unlock large sums of capital to meet rapidly rising energy demand here at home, and around the world. We've spent a decade living and breathing this problem space. Here are our learnings:
As we celebrate Pride Month at Workrise, we emphasize the importance of inclusivity and authenticity in the workplace. We are grateful for Risers like Daniel Dreher who reflect on what makes our workplace a place of belonging and what fuels his commitment to supporting others. “At Workrise, I can be my authentic self, making my work experience truly fulfilling. Being in an environment that celebrates individuality transforms the daily grind into something more meaningful. I am proud to lead our Pride ERG and firmly believe in the impact of our outreach efforts and remain driven by the opportunity to support those in need.”
