New Balance associates around the globe gathered to celebrate “Grey Days” — a celebration of the connection between our heritage and the enduring legacy of our signature color. Decked out in their finest NB “groutfits” (grey outfits), associates enjoyed refreshments, photo booths, raffles, and screenings of our “Grey Days” short film. Grey brings us together.
Since 1981, New Balance Foundation (NBF) has invested more than $140M in community-led organizations and initiatives focused on innovative evidence-based, educational and sports-based programs. Aimed at increasing equity and access, NBF champions active lifestyles and healthy communities so that young people have the opportunity to reach their goals. Through the work the Foundation is doing with their nearly 80 portfolio grantees, we know NBF is making an impact in the global communities where we live, work and play.
New Balance associates across the globe came together to celebrate Lunar New Year. In China, associates gathered for lunch and received red envelopes and red shoelaces which signify togetherness. In Boston, Asiatic Voices (our North American Associate Resource Group) hosted a traditional Lion Dance for all to enjoy at New Balance HQ, followed by a lunch and learn where associates shared and presented on how Lunar New Year is celebrated in their cultures and homes.
