Summer fun roundup! 😎 Our plants took advantage of the nice weather in June and held summer activities with food and fun. 🌮 Our facility in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, hosted a taco truck. 🍦 Our Reedsburg, Wisconsin, facility had an ice cream social. 🥘 Grede Biscoe in North Carolina held a Safety Month cookout. 🦍 Grede New Castle organized an outing to the Indianapolis Zoo. 💰 Our Brewton, Alabama, plant held a scratch-off jackpot for Safety Month. This week for Safety Month, we’re focusing on risk reduction. At Grede, our STOP (Stop, Think, Observe, Plan) Observation program helps identify and address safety risks by engaging employees in conversations about safe behaviors. Managers and supervisors, trained every three years, complete at least one weekly observation. We document the results, review the trends, and communicate them to shape our safety strategies. In 2023, we completed 17,000 observations across Grede, showing our commitment to safety. #NationalSafetyMonth #NSM #RiskReduction #Safety, National Safety Council
