No current reports for Edison Engineering Development Program salaries in Hong Kong

I have been out of the IT industry a long time now than I would like. Trying to get back in has been really challenging. Completed a diploma in cybersecurity to boost, setup home-lab projects, and continued to learn skills. Getting back into my career path has been challenging, and I'm not getting any younger as is. Working a survival job for too long than I planned for. Can anyone relate?

Startup is not my intention. I have no entrepreneurship. But my situation pushed me to open my own business. My previous company has heavily restricted the structure and laid off employees. My salary decreased. I have 4 family members including myself. I have submitted almost 200 resumes, but the companies I submitted all have rejected me. I thought my career or resume is shit, so to prove my work i produced my own website and app as portfolio. I have done my best, but very afraid of the future

Hello Everyone, I currently was let go from a Senior SALT (State and Local Tax) position with a large public accounting firm. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what kind of position I could pivot to. I am hoping to find something in private accounting, and it doesn't necessarily need to be a SALT position. I'd like to see if anyone has any advice on where a SALT technical skill set would be useful or easier to transition to. I'm open to continued education and CPA licensure.
