Automation Engineer salaries in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Engineering Managers, what’s your day-to-day like? I’m thinking about next steps and hesitating between going the Tech route (principal, staff, architect), or the People Management one.

So I graduated as an engineer two years ago and currently work in construction sales with 2 years experience acquired. How possible is a move to an engineering or analyst role given my experience. Most hiring managers seek some form of experience that I’m unfamiliar with asides from university projects.

Experience is one thing along with knowledge is key, but over the past 5 years plus it seems companies want a one man show. (Especially small to medium ones). I know my limitations and skill set but that doesn’t mean I want to cram my head being a network engineer, server infrastructure engineer, email engineer, cloud engineer, etc. I understand how they all intertwine, but that’s too much for me as companies want it all and their pay scale isn’t anywhere it needs to be.

Looking for any type of feedback about the demand and workload of an engineer at Anduril Industries, that have family with young kids. How many hours are you expected to put in each week? What is your work/life balance like? Does the company feel stable for long term growth/commitment?
