Pros

I cannot think of a single pro for this company. If I have to, maybe you can benefit from them if they go public or get acquired by somebody someday.

Cons

They either don't want to face it, or simply lack of determination to change the situation. That why a bunch of useless people were kept around and given key responsibilities. When you are approached, don't be carried away by their fancy titles. Mostly likely they will paint you a great picture without telling you exactly what you will be doing, because most of fancy titles manage nobody but themselves and don't know what they are doing half of the time. Funny thing is the management just let that happen. Expect nothing but chaos. Everyone in this company cares nothing but sales. On a daily bases, expect to work around the clock, including weekends and nights. Don’t expect appreciations from these guys, because they make empty promises all the time. It's understandable that companies are trying to save money, but you cannot find a company as cheap as this one. Make sure you know the benefit details, because the health care plans they provide is the worse you can ever get. There is no dental, vision, life insurances or anything else. Bottom line is that consider the work loads, you are making very little. Also, regardless of technical, equipment, or even general inquires, you will be lucky to get any. Fair point is that they are a small startup with no culture but full of cheap attitudes and short visions. If your job search hasn't been too desperate, I suggest you turn around and walk away.

Pros

A growing company with amazing growth. This growth is guaranteed due to pharmaceutical contracts.

Cons

Like most companies, it will depend on the department you work in and your supervisor. I would like to say that other departments seemed great. I believe RFXcel is a good company to work for if you are not in my former department. In my case, my supervisor had an anger problem, was verbally abusive, and was extremely unorganized. For example, we had a kid fresh from college misunderstand a question that the supervisor asked him. The supervisor went on a 3-minute verbal abusive session in front of me and another employee. This was the employees fifth day on the job. However, the real problem was not the verbal abuse. No, it was the unpredictability of my supervisor. One minute he would seem like a good person. But he would change to an anger infused madman without warning. Also, there was no documentation or guides in technical support. Because of this, the same issues were happening each day. I began to create documentation and guides to ensure others would be able to easily solve issues on their own. However, my supervisor just wanted to band-aide everything to get it done as quickly as possible. As a result, the department is twice as big due to no organizational knowledge. The training consists of calling India at 11 PM at night to try and get someone there to train you. Unfortunately, none of the employees in India would bother to make it to training on time. No matter how much my former supervisor screamed and moaned they never listened to him. In fact, he blamed me for them no showing up. The manager I was under seemed to have been taught management from the 1960’s. I believe he had success mostly because this style of management actually works well in India. Management by fear and empty threats drive people there. However, it will not work in the US and certainly not on the west coast. The two other employees I worked with felt the same as me. I left the company after a little over month to go to a different company that offered the same pay. I am not some disgruntled employee that was fired. I left of my own accord. Just stay away from Technical support until they fix this nightmare.

Pros

The company is growing quickly which is triggering a lot of new hires and management changes. People speak their mind so be ready to defend your opinions. I like the energy because there are always new opportunities if you want them. I've had the opportunity to work in a lot of different roles at rfxcel which would not have been possible in other companies.

Cons

The company could offer better health insurance. Would like better work/life balance but don't see that coming soon with our current growth.
