There is no work-life balance in the AMG group — it feels like 24×7 work. Micromanagement is rampant. Management only asks for status updates without focusing on the actual problems or infrastructure challenges faced by the team. Projects start from scratch with no standard flows, leading to confusion and chaos. Design architecture and specifications often change just a day before tapeout, yet verification is expected to be completed immediately. A blame culture dominates, where people dismiss others by saying, “You don’t know anything.” Collaboration is nonexistent. For individual survival, some resort to backstabbing, giving negative comments about teammates to gain mileage. What kind of culture is this? If you’re considering joining, it’s better to look at other groups rather than AMG.
