Pros

Working at Inlingua is a unique experience. I have been working here from last six months. The institute offers a very comfortable working environment. All my colleagues are very friendly in nature. Other staff is also very helpful and kind. The management addresses the grievances of all the employees from time to time.

Cons

Teaching at Inlingua means you have to handle work pressure. Each and every student’s progress is the responsibility of the instructor. Moreover, getting leaves or rescheduling classes isn’t easy. You have to take prior consent from the management.

Pros

Supportive administrative staff Kind and joyful colleagues Highly advance campus- new one coming soon Great students decent salary Support with immigration paperwork/work permit for non-EU members Overall, Inlingua has and will be one of the highlights in my professional career. The institution was an amazing place to learn about European expectations and standards for teaching English as a Foreing language. As a nonnative speaker of the language, it is hard to find opportunities in this field due to language imperialism and native-speakerism, so what I found in Inlingua is a committed group of professionals who saw my potential as an outstanding instructor. My boss helped me in all the ways he could to overcome difficult situations not only with professional but personal matters. The group of professionals in this institution is caring, helpful and friendly, that was utterly difficult to find in other places. One of the things that I enjoyed the most was to be able to adapt my schedule, that is not possible in other schools. The reasons for my departure were purely personal I decided to move forward with a Ph.D. program and due to that I needed to move to another country.

Cons

The cons a more related to the country than the school, I didn't enjoy much living in Malta. It is a beautiful place, but it does not offer the lifestyle I like.

Pros

Friendly, respectful and encouraging colleagues Ample support from the management A great opportunity to learn and grow All the bad reviews on Glassdoor from 2012-2015 made me hesitant accepting the position at inlingua DC at first but realized that those reviews were about the previous owner. inlingua DC is a great place to work, learn and grow. Everyone helps and supports each other and work as a team. Leaving this review because I felt bad seeing our company has a low rating on Glassdoor for an unfair reason.

Cons

Working with students from different backgrounds could be challenging

Pros

The hourly pay is around 18/19 euros per hour, reasonable. Amazing colleagues

Cons

This school was an awful place to work. Management constantly pitted staff against each other, didn’t pay teachers on time (or sometimes at all), and failed to provide any teaching materials. Teachers were regularly left in the dark about cancelled classes, which made planning impossible. The root of all these problems is the director of studies, whose incompetence feels almost malicious. There are many other serious issues, making this one of the worst employers I’ve experienced. Work/life balance is non existent as they will schedule classes all over the place. They don't care about their students either, consistently lying to them. Avoid if you can, which shouldn't be an issue as there are many other schools in Naples that need teachers constantly, and they're all better than this joke of a school.
