Pros

Good money depending on how much you work. Had the opportunity to meet interesting people.

Cons

Benefits weren't even covered by management. Training was about 10 minutes at the current managers house.

Wow. Thanks for writing this. I'd be interested to know when you worked for us in Miami. sorry to hear your experience was negative. Btw, eworks pays 2/3rd's of City Manager's med coverage across the country. Only Managers are eligible as the costs paid by the company are too great today , otherwise.. Please email me directly, if you are willing; would love to hear from you, Best, Chip McDermott

Pros

- Pretty good autonomy in the field. - You get to interact with thousands of people every week. - You will learn crisis management skills because there is a crisis every d*mn day. - You get to influence the trailers and commercials of upcoming movies

Cons

- If they are too cheap to give you an assistant manager, you will suffer. 3 locations with only yourself and 30-50 hourly associates? What could possibly go wrong? - Can be difficult to interview kids. - They screw interviewers out of money sometimes. Employees were pissed off every week about their paychecks not matching up with the number of interviews they conducted - They randomly call customers to follow up and ensure the interviews were conducted. Customers HATE this. Unfortunately, you must convince them to give you their phone number in order for the survey to count. - The days can be VERY long for a manager because you have to set up and close down for each location. The quotas can be very unrealistic.

Thanks for posting (former City Manager) As the long-time owner of eworks, we know very well some of the issues in the field are difficult and require lots of finesse. Some of these allegations are pretty serious. I hope you were able to express these concerns to your Supervisors. You were always encouraged to, including bringing them to any one in corporate's attention, including mine. If your or any of your former staff members wish to discuss any of these issues--particulalry those pertaining to pay, please contact me directly. i welcome the opportunity to speak with you. chip@eworksinc.com
