Pros

Working at bunq means actually living the 'Bank of The Free' vibe every single day. There’s no big egos here; it’s all about great ideas, radical transparency, and direct feedback. If you want to build something, you just go ahead and do it thanks to our action-oriented mindset—there’s no waiting around or red tape. You're constantly surrounded by smart, diverse people from all over the world who push you to grow daily. If you love high energy, hate slow bureaucracy, and want to make a real global impact, you'll absolutely love bunq :)

Cons

Since we always focus on executing fast, documentation sometimes lags behind the actual work. It would be awesome if we could document our processes in real-time so we don't have to play catch-up later, but it's just a natural side effect of our amazing speed!

Pros

I was not part of the company

Cons

The Bunq job application process takes forever, and at the end of me giving time, effort, and value, they simply cut you for fake reasons. You ask for clarifications and they shift the reasons to new ones (also fake). Then they change the job requirements, but because you still comply, at the end (during month 3) they admit being guilty, but still cut you off, along with your efforts. I wish I could give them -5 stars. Worst job application process ever!

Pros

The company’s doing good looking from the outside, but inside it’s terribly rotten! Though the company vision is impressive, leaders have forgotten about this and are making decisions that only serve their personal agenda.

Cons

Extremely toxic work culture. Lots of blatant favoritism, disrespect, and people taking advantage of their authority misleading others. Managers micromanage employees and lead them to what would most benefit them. While the company is experiencing success, what others don’t know are the problems management has thrown under the rug and the lies they made to maintain the company’s reputation.
