Ever wondered what happened to the spoiled brat you went to school with when you were younger -- the one who threw a temper tantrum or gave everyone the silent treatment when they didn't get their way? Or what about the one person who was so nice, and then one day you found out all the cruel ways they mess with the people, like purposefully hiding their stuff, offering favors and then telling everyone that they had to do something that wasn't their responsibility, or spying on people? What about the person who could create drama out of nothing? What about the person who thought it was funny to be racist and their friends who laughed with them? What about the one who always had a plot to bring someone down because that person didn't show enough appreciation? These people all came together to work for this company. The rest of the fashion industry is not like this. The rest of the tech industry is not like this. The age range is wide, so this is not because of a single generation that is like this. The rest of the NY area is not like this. The rest of London is not like this. The rest of Milan is not like this. I don't know how this perfect storm of aweful came together, but here it is.
