Pros
WorldTeach is helpful with orientation and preparing their teachers which is rare for many programs in China. There is a stipend and apartments are provided. China is a wonderful country to teach in and it was life-changing time for me.
Cons
The experience each volunteer has is dependent on the Field Director. Some field directors are much more experienced than others which can really affect the program. The salary for the China program is only $500. It's important to save money and take it with you before you leave for the host country.
